Dare to Dream - working with Recovery College

Dare to Dream is a programme which includes both teaching and mentoring. It covers employment, self-employment, volunteering and study as well identifying and managing barriers to progression. Working the Kirklees Adult Education and the Recovery College participants are referred to the course. The starting point is to discuss everyone's dreams and then to run these into goals and actions plans. Workshops cover barriers and how to manage them and then the different routes to progression including employment, self-employment, volunteering and further study. This is a personalised approach where everyone's plans are valid and support is available to discuss dreams and barriers in more detail. Links are made to appropriate organisations including C+K careers who guest on the final session.

This course can be adapted to any context and be delivered online or in person.
